After more than a year of filling mental and creative space with 'survival mode' (how do we operate and try to do music in the midst of a pandemic?) I was finally able to write a new work, a setting of "Ubi caritas," in March of 2021. This was premiered by the Saint Mary's University Concert Choir in April 2021, and it will soon be ready for release through Swirly Music (watch for the release announcement here). The setting is dedicated to caregivers - those who have given so much to get us through these trying times in all capacities, whether healthcare workers, first responders, frontline essential workers, family members, and all those who have held us up.
